Neemba Côte d’Ivoire (“Neemba”), the authorized Caterpillar dealer for West Africa, is proud to announce its key role as  equipment supplier and technical service provider for the Koné Project, developed by Montage Gold Corp.

Under a long-term partnership, Neemba will deliver, assemble, and support a fleet of high-performance Caterpillar machines — including 777 haul trucks, 6020 hydraulic shovels, D9 dozers, and support equipment — to enable Montage’s owner-mining operating model at the Koné Project in Côte d’Ivoire. Continuous deliveries are scheduled to begin in mid-2026.

All machines will be assembled locally by Neemba technicians, reflecting Neemba’s deep commitment to local content development and skills transfer. The assembly and commissioning activities will be performed at the Koné site by trained professionals, ensuring adherence to the highest global standards of safety, quality, and performance.

To guarantee operational reliability, Neemba will also deploy a dedicated on-site technical team doing condition monitoring, preventative maintenance and rapid-response repair services to maximize uptime and productivity. Neemba will also implement an on-site Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI) system to ensure rapid parts availability, minimized downtime, and optimized lifecycle performance for the entire fleet.

Neemba support encompasses the entire equipment lifecycle by incorporating NEEMAN (Neemba Manufactured) major components at each overhaul period.

Supporting Construction Success

Throughout the construction phase of the Koné Project, Neemba has played a key enabling role by providing a range of Caterpillar rental equipment, including earthmoving and material handling units, to support site development and infrastructure works.

Additionally, Caterpillar Gensets supplied and maintained by Neemba have ensured continuous and stable power generation for critical site operations. This reliable power availability has been instrumental in maintaining construction progress on schedule, reinforcing Neemba’s ability to deliver integrated solutions across the full project lifecycle — from early works to production readiness.

OEM Financing Solution

As part of its integrated service offering, Neemba has worked closely with CAT Financial to establish a US$75 million OEM Finance Facility supporting Montage Gold’s acquisition of the Caterpillar mining fleet and related services.

The finance structure enables Montage Gold to deploy its mining fleet through a competitive, OEM-backed financing solution while reinforcing Neemba’s role as a strategic partner capable of delivering both technical and financial solutions in support of large-scale mining operations.
