Bare chassis for 777 construction dump truck
Construction dump trucks (CAT)
Caterpillar offers incomplete machines and systems in collaboration with Cat dealers and original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) to provide specialized machines for specific applications. Bare chassis dump trucks (WTR models) can be ordered with or without lift cylinders, and most product options are identical to those of dump truck models. In general, these models have the higher ROPS (Rollover Protective Structure) tractor certification required for specialized machines such as tanker trucks, tow tractors, and fuel/lubricant tanker trucks. These incomplete machine configurations are used in construction, demolition, waste handling, material handling, quarrying, and mining applications.
The Water Delivery System (WDS) is an optional feature available with the 777 WTR, 785D WTR, and 789D bare chassis for construction dump trucks. It includes factory-installed cab controls, a hydraulic motor and pump, a water pump, and stainless steel spray heads. Whether your goal is to reduce dust or maintain tracks, the Cat Water Delivery & Control System (WDS) is designed to spray water on the ground in a controlled and intelligent manner. The easy-to-use automated system allows you to focus on major safety issues such as traffic, personnel, and road conditions. You'll also find that in addition to improving safety, the Cat WDS reduces hauler maintenance costs, uses little water, and delivers significant fuel savings to help you improve your bottom line.
Caterpillar builds construction dump trucks specifically designed for mining, construction, and quarrying applications. Our construction dump trucks can be loaded in an ideal number of passes using Cat wheel loaders and hydraulic excavators to improve cycle times and optimize productivity.
