The C4.4 industrial power unit (IPU) engine features common-rail direct injection with a single- or twin-turbocharger air-feed system. It complies with EPA Tier 4 Final emissions standards for the USA, Stage V for the European Union, 2014 (Tier 4 Final) for Japan. To simplify installation, the industrial power unit features a complete aftertreatment assembly, integrated cooling circuit and IPU-mounted intake air filter.
